I cannot even begin to tell you how exciting classroom preparation has been this year! I mean, I'm in a BRAND. NEW. SCHOOL. This is such a once in a lifetime opportunity! Plus, I am having to change my whole mindset. I am no longer a primary classroom teacher, but am now preparing to teach all students grade K-5. I needed to create a space that was flexible and would allow us to accomplish great things.
I (and my family) have put countless hours into preparing the Fab Lab space.
Here it is, ready for Day 1:

I'm still waiting for pegboard for that back corner. That will be our Makerspace wall and the pegboard will house all of our tools!
This is the comfiest carpet. We will gather here at the beginning and close of each class.
